First Time Download

If this is your first time scanning in for the event, you will need to download an app to your device in order to complete the check-in.

This can be done via scanning the QR code displayed on the screens.  Open your phone's camera and point it toward the QR code, tap the link that appears.

Your browser will open an information page. Leave the box checked and tap open.

This will take you to the App Store for your device. Download, install, and open the app.
Note: While these screenshots are from an iPhone, the same process can be completed on an Android device.

Once opened, you may get a message saying "iAttended" would like to paste... Tap Allow.

After this, the app will open to a log-in screen.  The fastest method for signing in is to use the "Sign in with google" button on the bottom.

Note: You must use your GoValor email to be allowed to sign in, and receive credit.

Once you sign in, you will be prompted with a lot of messages to authorize for location, Bluetooth, and notifications. Tap allow on them when prompted.

Note: You must allow all of these prompts in order for the app to work properly, and to receive credit.  The location prompt should have "allow while using app" selected.

Checking In

At this point, the app is ready for future use and you will not have to repeat the above process as long as you don't delete the app

To check-in for an event, tap the blue "Scan Code" button at the bottom of the app.  A camera window will open.

Note: If this is your first time scanning, you may be prompted to allow the camera access.  Tap ok.

Aim your device towards the screen.  The app will automatically change back to the main screen as soon as it recognizes the code.

A status bar will appear towards the bottom as it processes the link

That's it! You're checked in for the event.
